I already started packing. It may have been mentioned earlier in this thread but I'm wondering what I need to plan to bring for food for myself. I usually make my own breakfast but which other meals are pot luck or some other group meal? I will pick up something good for the food drive, too.
Thanks in advance.

The essential part of me can not be discussed here. Ask me in person.
Anyone notice this?
The lapse in funding for the Federal government may impact your reservation and travel plans. Be aware that if you have an existing reservation during this lapse of funding period, and the location is not staffed, your reservation may not be honored.
We recommend that you do not make reservations for dates that fall within the lapse in funding timeframe, which begins at 12 am, Saturday, December 22 and extends for an unknown period. Some locations will remain open, while others will close.
Contact those local offices to inquire about their status.

So help me...
Yeah... that’s not good.
I know someone who spent nearly $$$$ on gear, at the last minute, to come on this trip... both himself and his girlfriend.
The out-of-towners, venders, and many others who invested in this trip... is there a backup plan?
I’m crossing my fingers because that weekend falls on my birthday.

HangCon 2018 - 2024, (to be continued...)
There have been several other shut-downs in the past and none of them ever were a problem with HangCon. This year we have an extra week of time in our favor.
My backup plan is to enter and hang in the woods. Plenty of woods in Ocala to hang.
Pheonix and I will welcome all to go to Hidden Pond with us and hang in a beautiful spot. Enough trees to hold 300 hangers within the proximity of Hidden Pond and Crooked Sapling Pond. The only issue is we need to hike in.
But, like I said, no issues in the past with other shut-downs.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Hey, hidden pond is fine with me!
