The trail connects to a loop and is just under 8 miles for the full hike. I thought the hikers might really enjoy that.
This answers all my questions. Seems everything I need is there: toilet, shower, hiking, kayak launch.

Lilricky, just so you know... the first time you miss a HangCon, we're gonna have a vote for who takes it over. Don't worry though... I'm sure you'll do well.

I might make a suggestion for all that are able to do so...if you have a stand and have the ability to bring a stand with you I would suggest doing so. For a couple of reasons, first being the ease of setup. You can pretty much set camp anywhere that is available. Second being, with this event becoming bigger and bigger every year the amount of free trees gets smaller and smaller (especially ones close to the action). Especially if you plan on coming in later during the event, which I discovered my first year. With this new site, not sure on the amount of trees but the all the pictures online show a lot of open field. It might also be a general sense of kindness to keep trees super close to the main camp open for folks with young kids and those with mobility limitations.

Happy Hanging Folks! Only 3 months away!
