On the subject of site fires.
Floridahanger will keep the fire by our pavillion going every night. And every day if necessary.
This will be our primary meeting and feeding site.
You are allowed to have your own site fire.
BUT....
It has to be in a fire ring. You can move a nearby ring to your site if it hasn't already been claimed by someone else.
Please practice good fire sense..... clear dried leaves and brush away from the area before building your fire. And for the love of Pete - DON'T LEAVE YOUR FIRE UNATTENDED!
Please do not bring firewood in. Red will come around with all you need. He charges $25 for the fullest wheelbarrow load you ever saw. Red and his wife Joy are the campground hosts. They're good folks. Show'em some love and buy yourself some firewood. No, you can't take wood from the pavillion's stack.

Looks like there are trees, trees and more trees. Trees to spare and then more. Should be enough room to even put tents next to hammocks in the trees and not worry about putting the tents in the parking lot next to cars. This is good because the rain on Thursday may make the parking lot on the left too soggy near the West side not allowing that area to be used for cars.

Another important factoid that I don't think was mentioned earlier....
There is no refrigeration or freezeration at Sertoma. It's all up to coolers and bags of ice. Ice is not available on site so you'll want to fill up before you arrive. We may have to organize some ice runs.
On the upside....
There are plenty of service tables and picnic tables, so we won't need folks to bring extra tables after all.

Will we have enough burners and propane? According to the website, propane is available at Sertoma.
