    Any airports hammock friendly?

I travel quite a bit for work around the globe and I've never seen a hammock friendly airport.

I'd love to see an airport put up some post/ attachments to use. It sure would make those layovers better....

Does anyone know of a hammock friendly airport?

That would be awesome, but the pillars in the terminals are really wide, and property is already limited. It’s difficult to find an electric outlet.

Killing a few hours in a hammock would be divine, if TSA doesn’t confiscate Dutch’s metal.

That would be super sweet, but seems a bit optimistic. Even as hammock prevalence increases, asking for a place to hang in an airport might be going a tad far. If it happens, of course, I'm all for it.

Yeah, it probably won't ever happen, but a guy can dream, right?

Surely you’ve all seen the numerous photos of people hanging in airports. This is always going to be an option for people who are better asking forgiveness than permission. If only there were a hammock stand of carry-on dimensions that could be set up in some out-of-the-way, pillar-free corner where nobody would bother you...

    Any airports hammock friendly?

^ ha ha - well done!

Using a Tensa4 stand or otherwise, I wonder exactly who's jurisdiction it would be to tell someone they can't hang a hammock somewhere in a terminal. I spend all too much time in airports, or at least I used to... in places like JFK, it's near impossible even to find 30 sq ft of unoccupied space; or maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

I would assume anyone saying, "hey, you can't hang that thing here!" is just flexing their authority. Ask for forgiveness, indeed. I challenge anyone to find a reference to hammocks in the TSA handbook.
