I use OneNote (used to use EverNote) and can copy and paste (using a plugin to make it easier) to capture any useful information I may want to access later and store it is the cloud for access from all my devices.

The main thing with all these tips is to get out and practice in some actual rainy weather before the SHTF for real, a long way from a bail-out.
And understand that in protracted wet conditions stuff is going to get damp, sometimes very damp, and that you have to accept this and be prepared to live with it.

Also do not discount just enjoying being out in the rain. Embrace it. We chose to adventure.
Most of our life we run to get out of the rain so once you give in and embrace it it sheds a new point of view on the trip.
Work on keeping camp gear dry gives us a good challenge.
But nothing worse than a cold rain in 36º windy weather. One has to suck it up then.
