Local hangs

Are there ever group hangs in Eastern TN(near Erwin, Roan Mtn, etc...)SW Virginia(Abington, Bristol, etc...), Western NC(Asheville, Hot Springs, Lake Lure, etc...) Locations in parentheses are regional examples but are not limited exclusively to those places. Thanks in advance!

There is the Hootenanny Hang near Unicoi that has been the 2nd weekend in June the last couple of year, suspect it will be an ongoing annual thing for a while. Sometimes there is a Roan hang in Jan/Feb, but that's for those experienced in really cold windy conditions - or if you just really want to get experienced.

There's typically one in Hot Springs, though I don't recall seeing anything this year.

Check out linvillegorge.net . we always have something going on there. Next hang is the week before Halloween all week long. Oct 19-26.

Yates Place - just east of Charlotte... occurs on time change weekends 2x a year

There are a few in Kentucky, Hanson point and Jefferson forest if you dont mind the drive...both coming at the end of Oct first of nov
