I am trying offload some of my gear stockpile so I can afford another DCF tarp
I have for your consideration a zippered DCF/Cuben fiber pouch that serves a ton of functions. It is made from 2.92 Hybrid DCF in blue, with a #3 Uretek waterproof zipper.
The pouch is approximately 8.5" x 7.5" x 3". It is very similar to a Zpacks Multipack or CRO Feed Trough. With 3/8" buckles in each corner, and grosgrain loops on the zipper, you can wear this as a chest pouch, fanny pack, shoulder bag, pack lid or just use it as a highly water resistant organizational tool in your pack. You could also wear it on your head, but I don't recommend that .. because fashion.
All you need is some 3/8" webbing to fit the buckles and there are myriad possibilities for how to use this when on the trail. If you want some ideas on how you can configure it, check the Zpacks website page here: http://www.zpacks.com/accessories/backpack_lid.shtml
