Hurricane Florence Update - Delays, Schedule, etc

Hi Guys. As many of you may know, we have a little situation with a monster hurricane headed directly for us in North Carolina. If you haven't seen that, it looks like this....

    florence-11sep18-5am.jpg

Growing up in Eastern NC, I've lived through over a dozen hurricanes. I'm typically a very optimistic guy, but I'll be honest - I can't remember one ever looking this bad.

That being said, I wanted to make a quick announcement to set expectations as this situation plays out. Here's our current schedule:

WED - We're going to be working full bore today to stay on pace with incoming orders and crank out as many as possible. This includes print jobs coming from OutdoorINK. Frantic push, but business as usual today.

THURS - We'll be watching the development and make a decision on whether to close entirely or work a half day.

FRI - Barring some type of miracle shift in the forecast, we will be CLOSED this Friday. The storm is expected to make landfall on the coast early Friday morning, so things aren't looking good for anyone this day.

Of course we want to be mindful of fulfillment and get your order out ASAP, but to be frank the most important thing is that our team members and family are safe and have ample time to prepare for what could be a very catastrophic storm.

We appreciate your patience and support in advance. Thank YOU!!!
    - Kyle

Around me people freak out and make a run on milk, eggs and bread when there's 6" of snow coming. I like French toast, but don't understand that at all.

I can't imagine what they would do if we had hurricanes!

I spent 2 mounts working on the aftermath of Katrina. If this one is as bad as they are saying start prep early and get moving the crew well out of the way as soon as possible. Be safe.

Thanks! I've considered getting a generator to run my Juki in my apartment while the power is out...

Hope the IPA wasn't all cleaned out too!

Maybe you can wrap the building in that 5 ounce DCF you just found... I thought 1 ounce was heavy duty, that must be hurricane rated.

    Good luck guys!
