    I love the milk and bread thing...one needs refridgeration, the other lasts a week or two.

    ^ I was just going to mention tortillas instead! They last much, much longer.

    I've always been able to ride these things out without a generator, but with this Prym1 HyperD 300 sitting on my project table, I'm starting to think I might need one just for my sewing machine...

    Good point. I'm actually planning to set up my Sawyer Squeeze gravity system for anything out of the buckets or the tubs. We're on city water, so there's a pretty good chance this is unnecessary insurance now that the track has shifted so significantly to the south.
