Molly Mac Pack, 8 years and still going strong!

This is my eighth year using the MMP system, my family has three of them, one for each of us.

Eight seasons is no small feat for me, I'm notoriously rough on gear, but my MMP just keeps going, soaking up anything I throw it's way.

I have dragged whole pigs out of the South Texas Black Brush, hauled in 80 pounds of corn to feeders when the roads were flooded after Harvey, carried hundreds and hundreds of pounds of meat out of the field. However, it isn't just a brute, I have also used it on day hikes, and in slack pack mode to just carry fishing gear for a day fishing day trip.

Now, I don't hunt like I once did, fat and old will do that; but it's nice to know she will be there if I need to show some young buck that I'm still as good once as I ever was!

Of all the gear I am upgrading and culling, the Molly Mac Pack will stay in the stable (along with a few other select items).

    I love my MMP MacEntyre!

Good to hear. My MMP is almost a year old and I've enjoyed it for a number of outings - dog walking, fishing trips, camping, hiking - so many ways to configure it for each type of adventure. I did a lot of research so that I wouldn't feel the need to have 2-3-4 different backpacks and settled on MacEntyre's creation.

No question it's a great piece of kit. I don't get out on the trail nearly as much as I would like, but when I do, there is still some lingering regret for trading mine years ago for gear that I've since given away.

Fully concur; love my MMP. It generally takes me just a bit longer to get packed up in the morning, but the versatility is well worth it. I’m surprised it’s not more popular than it appears to be. Especially when you see that most of its users swear by it!
