It's not down, it's UP!
Made out of sasquatch hair from the Upper Peninsula.
How does this compare to the more traditional synthetic like apex? I’m guessing it’s much more compressible?

Has anybody had any experience with this? I'm looking to hopefully save a bit of money on making a 0 degree quilt, and was wondering if that would be possible with this. Any weight isn't much of an issue for me. Does this react well to being in a compression sack? Thanks for any help

Looking to revitalise this thread... Any early adopters out there who have given it a try?

I’m also curious. Had anybody had any experience with making a quilt using UP insulation?
Just finished an underquilt for my wife using UP insulation. I still need to try it out in the cold, but so far it looks very promising. Quilt should be good to at least 20F. You can tell a bit of a difference in bulk compared to my Loco Libre underquilt, but it's definitely closer to a down quilt than any other synthetic I've seen. Still quite compressible. Plus, I was able to stuff it sitting on the couch watching TV and didn't lose any in the process.
