Mock One freestanding foldable hammock - any thoughts?

There is Kickstarter (ended) and Indiegogo (ongoing) campaigns on the new hammock design called Mock One: link

Any thoughts on it? Sounds like a pretty unique freestanding design for under 15lbs for car camping or even quick backyard setup. Would like to hear your opinion.

Fits up to people 6'5" with feet extending past the end pads.....well that dont sound too comfy for tall people the design looks cool if ya wanna stick it in a tent or something, but does this not defeat the purpose of swaying in the trees?

Why would you want to stick it in a tent? It comes with mosquito net, tarp and insulation (for summer nights).
As for tall people, yeah - I think it was designed to only fit up to 5'10'' and slight overhang for anybody longer. They were promising later to release XL version for taller people.

    i'd call that a cot-mock.
    cot-like.
looks pretty short for a nights slumber but many folks will like it.

I don't think too many. This is obviously not a trail hammock.

At 16 pounds? If you see any grab a pic because they have got to be badasses to carry that around with all the other stuff.

There's a sucker born every minute! In this case, a lot of suckers since they're raised $475,000.

yeah, but if someone wants to add something like that do their beach kit, or poolside kit, it's a nice small footprint
