Question How do you Pack your TQ and UQ on trips?

How do you folks pack your top quilt and under quilt on trips?

I have been contemplating a dry sack 20-30L for some time now - I am curious if a winter UQ and winter TQ would fit into one at the same time.

Any how please share your packing methods if you don't mind. I don't like juggling 3 stuff sacks (TQ, UQ, and hammock gear sack).

TQ & UQ in HG Cuben fiber stuff sack. Hammock & bugnet in silnylon stuff sack. I also put all my stuff in a contractor bag inside the backpack. Earlier this year I actually swam across two rivers and nothing got wet. That's a definite endorsement of my approach!

TQ, UQ, Hammock, and bug net along with dry items (clothing) all go into a compactor bag which is rolled down tight then everything else is packed on the top. My water kit, fire kit, first aid kit go in my front and top pockets of bag.

I use a compactor bag as a pack liner and just shove everything in reverse order I'll use it. TQ, clothes bag, UQ, hammock. Roll it down, squeeze the air out of it and smash things as small as I can then roll it the rest of the way and tuck it so air/water won't leak in.

    What they said ^^^

It's easy to go over the top with stuff sacks. I press my quilts, clothes bag (which is reversible to a fleece pillow) and hammock in a compactor bag, press the air out and fold the end over.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I use my UQP to wrap up and contain my entire sleep system, which gets stuffed into a trash compactor bag in the bottom of my pack.

I do the same when backpacking. For bikepacking the TQ and UQ go into a 13L dry bag on a handlebar harness. That's for 20º quilts, I'd guess true winter down quilts could fit in the same 13L bag but could upsize to a 15L if needed.
