UQ for Blackbird XLC

I am going to be purchasing a new Blackbird XLC. I currently have Hammock Gear underquilts and want to know if they will work with the new Blackbird as well. I know that the Warbonnet Wooki is a great product but I don’t want to invest in new quilts if it isn’t necessary. Thanks

Any standard under quilt will work just fine with the blackbird. I use a Loco Libre quilt with mine, but there's nothing unique about the hammock that would require you to use a special quilt like the wooki.

You'll be fine. You might want to put some UQ hooks on that XLC. I wish Brandon would offer that option for those not using the Wooki... It's easy enough to do it yourself though. If you don't, at least the new zipper configuration makes it easier to tweak the UQ position when you're in the hammock!

Yes. I use my HG UQ on my XLC with no problem.
Just make sure you know how to properly set a UQ on a hammock.

I have a HG Phoenix that I use and like with my 90* Hammocktent hammocks (I originally purchased it for using with a WBRR). Later I purchased a Wooki for using with a WBBB XLC and have been quite pleased. It also works just as well with my DH Sparrow, former DH Raven, and I'm confident it will work with the ordered Ninox. One option you might consider given the quality of the HG gear you may consider selling the HG to raise funds for the Wooki.

I use the JRB Greylocks for 60° or lower and then I switch to a 40° Yeti >60° according to my notes.
