WI Da Shack Hangs, October and December 2018

I just made 20 breakfast burritos, but I may have to make a few more!

I will have
2 spare hammocks and
2 spare tarps, and
2 homemade quilt underquilts, and
2 sleeping bags (rated at 15 degrees) if needed.

Plus da shack will be heated. I might haul, cut, split, and pile the red oak, but I ain't da wood *****. Youse guys can maintain da fire!

I have never been to a group hang and this sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately I have way to much shop work to get done before Christmas and will actually be having a planning meeting Saturday afternoon with my Scout troop for our overnight the 28th and 29th so I will not be able to make this one. I will definitely be watching out for future adventures. Are kids welcome at these hangs?

I will probably set up my Tensa4 stand with a Superfly tarp - not for lack of trees, but just because.

It’s one of those places you must have already been to in order to know how to find it. If you search the woods and stumble upon us, you’re in. It took me a week the first time.
