I think there are people hiking the Batona Trail the weekend before. They're planning their trip over on the Facebook NJ Hammock Club page.

Do you have reservations for the campsites you list? I hope you are familiar with Buttonwood - it is a dismal campsite for hammock camping. And best of all, it's right on Pleasant Mills Road so you'll have plenty of traffic to lull you to sleep at night (if you can even find two trees).

There is a group hiking the opposite direction the week prior.

Buttonwood is the logical choice even though it is small and close to the road. Site 4 or 5 are best for hammocks.

Did you book the sites yet?

I’m on vacation that week, if no other plans develop, I will be interested.

Aw man!! Yeah we're doing the Batona the week before! Depending on the days you go I may be able to to a day with you guys. Or maybe camp at one of the sites with ya.

I have the 2 Wharton sites reserved. I have to call about the Byrne site. To reserve that online they require 2 nights. Buttonwood site 5 and Batona site 7.

When making reservations, there is a tab for Batona Trail that will let you make a one night reservation in Byrne.
