Okay, delivered. Heavy box! Whaaaa?? Almost 6 lbs packed for 2 hammocks with tree straps...
Here's the goods. One hammock out of the box, having removed only the plastic bag it was packed in (one hammock with everything = 2# 4.3 oz, approximately what the ad claimed "2.39 lbs").

Here's the straps... wow they are heavy (14.2 oz for a pair). Also, they measured at just short of 9 feet -- the description said they were 10 feet long. Description also says 14 loops -- each has 14 if you count the loop that is on the tree hugger end!

The 2 steel biners with no markings on them (4.4 oz).

And here's the hammock only (packed into its own pocket), without the above items (1# 1.6 oz).

I quickly measured it just by laying it out on the floor, but not stretched or held down -- looked like about 9 feet long (ad claimed 118"--I don't think I shorted it by 10"!). Instead of CLs of amsteel or rope, it has a CL made from webbing, though lighter weight than the tree hugger webbing. The hammock is made of NOT ripstop (but they didn't claim it was) -- it sort of looks like taffeta tablecloth fabric -- I suppose this is what passes for "parachute" fabric?
And for the added bonus -- the air pillow!

1.7 ounces! I tried blowing it up, but it's REALLY hard to get air into it. Squeezed/pinched the blowhole every which way (figuring there was a valve of some kind inside), so far have not gotten it to inflate. Measures 9-1/2" x 15" completely flat. Looks like it's flocked -- very fine fuzzy nap on it.
I'm satisfied -- I have what I wanted, 2 (hopefully) bomb-proof straps to use in the backyard on my bipod stands, for a pretty cheap price.
I suppose I can use the hammock fabric to make quilt storage bags or something similar... not a loss!
EDIT: looks like this will come up as available again in about 10-1/2 hours -- 8 am Eastern time -- jump on it if you want it!
