You will really like it! I bought mine last summer, (I buy winter stuff in the summer and summer stuff in the winter to save money), and I used it about a dozen times last winter. It is my go to quilt when it is below freezing, and it works very well! I have only had mine down to about 18 degrees and windy, but that is my personal limit on temp.

How does the new MicroRipstop compare to the HyperDiamond (MRS20 vs HD1.0)? If you have any experience with HD1.0 outers, what are your thoughts? How does the color compare, etc?

I cannot directly compare the two. But, the MRS20 looks like a robust fabric for its weight, and I have a lot of experience with super lightweight fabrics. The finish is matte with a bit of sheen. It looks like a woven fabric, as opposed to a plastic garbage bag (which I have some of those fabrics). The color is rich and deep and opaque, not translucent like some UL fabrics. It may even be scout proof, LOL.
The M10 inner is silky smooth.
The color combo is stunning, but I'm prejudice being an Orange & Blue Florida Gator, LOL.

Wow a zero degree quilt with 4 oz over stuff in South Florida. Is the world ending?

I'm in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, LOL.
Where, by the way, it's been as hot as Florida this summer!
(Hmmm, I need to update my bio)

Purdy quilt! And I love that baffle design. You gonna be like Atticus Finch? (dog)
