Is there a deadline to sign up? With my work schedule it might be a day or 2 beforehand decision. If the group sites are full, are there other sites at the park I could book and then just meet up with everyone for the activities?

I believe we all just hang in available trees. The sooner you come the better and as far as sign up, go ahead and throw your name up on the sign up sheet so we buy enough food for breakfast and dinner. I have to turn in our head count for dinner by Oct 4th.

We sure hope you can make it.

BEHOLD the DynaFly! The most aerodynamic hammock rainfly ever!

A huge thanks to Joshua for sending over one of his handmade creations! It took him 5 years to master it's pattern, measurements, sewing, and it's fantastic look. I mean seriously, this fly looks bada$$ and it's in the raffle, ready for your next adventure!! For stats on this awesome prize, check out his thread in HF! Also, our fingers are crossed for him to attend the event all the way from Seattle. Let's give him a huge MAHHA welcome upon arrival! Thanks, Josh!!!

IF I make it [hoping and planning to be there], I will have the DynaFly that I had along to the L&L hang. I will be using it as my own fly this time to get the experience.... anyway there will be one to be seen.

If it weren't for Dutch I wouldn't be hanging the hang I am today so it is my pleasure to give a little something in return to the community he loves and supports so much. I'm excited to see who the lucky winner is going to be!

I am really pushing to be able to join you all. It looks like I can block out the time but I just have to sort out the rest of the logistics to make it happen. I've just returned home from a family road trip to San Fransisco for a wedding and was hoping to get some administrative work done while under way, but you know how things go. I did at least manage to meet up with Latherdome, one of the founders of Tensa Outdoors, in Portland on the way south. Turns out the DynaFly and the new Tensa4 stand are a match made in heaven. This process of creativity and discovery is just so darn fun, all the hard work feels totally worth every oz.

Anyways, I'll keep plugging along on the logistics and will work something out. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in person!

Quick reminder to sign up (see page 1 of thread) by Thursday, October 4th as I need to submit our count to the caterer. For those who found the meat to be a bit on the salty side (like I did), we’ve requested less seasoning to be added. It looks like our food donations list (also see page 1) is getting more populated (thank you) and the sign up sheet includes some smiles and love. Great!
