Stretch is a function of load. The higher the load, the greater the stretch.
For a given weight, load will increase with a flatter suspension. Slackening your suspension will decrease stretch.

Just as information, I have hung my WBRR and used it for 2 weeks every night, and the hang did not change. I used war bonnet straps. I have 2 sets of their straps and never had an issue related to stretch. My WBRR doesn't seem to stretch either, nor my wife's. Good luck with yours!
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
