Wow this is great. Wife and I are going to be at mahha and can't wait to try or at least see this tarp configured for two, especially with my idea of integrated sections, if that works out. I haven't had time to do much with it since initial setup. Isn't that always the way?!

Aha, I gotcha now. Well, I'm sure we'll get a couple chameleons under a DynaFly for folks to take a look at the DynaFly Duo.

All you gotta due is take one of those obsession pills and slide down the rabbit hole until folks think that perhaps you might be a little insane. Then you'll probably get 'er done. If that's not enough though, you might want to fully convince everyone you are insane by quitting your job with a baby on the way just so you can focus on your project....

Yikes, maybe I am insane...

This going to be a stupid question but, since you are posting this in the DIY forum will you be posting plans for others to make one of these or are you planning on producing and selling this for yourself?

Not a stupid question at all because I still have the same question! Haha.

I posted here in the DIY, first off, because I did it myself and finally got her to a point in the design where I felt it was time to share and start getting some feedback. I would love to turn this into a new career but don't have solid plans for making that happen at the moment. I would also love for folks to have the opportunity to build their own if they so desire so a DIY build writeup complete with plans is something I hope to put together someday. I've recently started dreaming of an app where folks can select their own materials and colors (print-to-fabric?) for each of the panels and then a DIY kit with laser cut parts would arrive at your door ready for assembly. Unfortunately, these are all dreams at the moment as i'm incredibly busy with a new baby, changing careers, an impending move, and trying to write my "History of the DynaFly" thread so folks can enjoy the journey that got me to this point.

I promise to keep everyone posted as things develop. I look forward to meeting a bunch of you fine folks at MAHHA where we can speak more candidly in person.
