    Dr’s orders!

“Keep that foot elevated!“. That’s the last thing my doc said when I left his office in a hard cast, the result of a fall five months earlier when an extension ladder came apart beneath me. I might not be doing much camping or putting on many miles in the woods right now, but I can still hang! A hammock seems the natural way to go when you’re told to keep your foot up.

I’ve found that the ladders on the back of most RVs are plenty solid for one end of a hammock. I put my tree strap around a short stick of pipe and allow that to span both rails of the ladder, just above one of the steps. Also works well at a campground when there’s a tree within reach.

Love it. Always look at the bright side...

"Honey, Dr's orders. He told me a HAD to stay in my hammock"

Hope you heal soon and the pain in the brain fades away with each additional swing to and fro. If that doesn't work out within 5 months, come on down to HangCon 2019 in January and I will personally deliver your coffee in the morning directly to your hammock.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I had my Dr's orders a few months ago after foot surgery. Oh darn! Compliance is such sweet misery. Embrace it. The road to recovery isn't half bad! Hope you get better soon!IMG_20180510_144120.jpeg

Sorry to hear you were injured!
I bounced off a parking lot once, so I can relate.

I wish you all the best, and yes keep that foot elevating in some hammock fabric.
