Good to see a fellow hanger from the rock! But I got to ask ...

I originally grew up on the south shore, Rose Blanche to be exact, before moving to Ontario. Just where exactly do you find trees tall enough to hang from?

Thanks all for the feedback. I have decided to go with just the hammock this year, and survive another year with my Costco DYI UQ and a pad for extra insulation.

BTW, normally I put the pad inside the hammock. Would it make sense to put the pad between the hammock and the UQ? That way I don't fight with a pad all night? Would this work?

PPS: For a pad I tend to use the mylar covered bubble wrap. I don't know if that would change anyone's opinions.
