Hello everyone! As I mentioned in another post, we're thrilled to finally have some time to get back behind the sewing machine creating new DIY gear. It's been a long time coming!
Now for our first act... Most people know you're supposed to store your quilts uncompressed. This maintains that precious down loft that keeps your winter nights so warm.
If you own a vendor made quilt/blanket, it likely came with a basic storage sack, which is great. But maybe you've made a DIY quilt and don't have an extra sack. Or maybe basic is a little too basic and you just want something cool (it happens).
So we made a quilt storage sack DIY kit. Specifically, an OutdoorINK printed DIY Quilt Storage Bag Kit....

On top of solving your problems of proper quilt storage, this kit allows you to go beyond basic into the land of just plain cool. It's printed on-demand by us so you can choose any OutdoorINK pattern/design OR any solid color (HINT: to match or contrast your existing quilt colors) using our Omnicolor Pantone color matching process.
To answer the question of "Can I make this?"... At the end of the day, this is really just a big ole mesh stuff sack, so if you can sew a stuff sack (and if you can't, check out this video), you can totally make the Quilt Storage Bag Kit. And even then, if you run into trouble, we're always here to help.
So for $18 and a little effort, you'll have the coolest quilt sack in the land. Just don't be shy when you bring this thing to the hang. When people come to you (and they will) asking where you got that sweet sack, just smile and say "Yeah, I made that."

As always, if we can help with anything at all, don't hesitate to let us know. THANKS!
