    That is brilliant!!

    I was thinking of organising something similar -and you have done the work.

    I use fixed length trekking poles, so no concern about slipping.

    It is perfect for those areas with one good tree but just another small tree ( which is to short to hang from, but strong enough at the base), or rock, to use as on anchor - with the trekking poles.

    The only addition to my kit would be the harness - which should be easy to make.

    superbly elegant solution. i’m a bit heavier than most of the reports in this thread, but i’d love to try to make a lightweight bipod like this. i’ll try fixed length poles as noted above.
