Pacific Northwest Hangers?

Hello fellow PNW hangers. I was able to get out for one overnight trip so far this summer. I went up to White Pass in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. Was going to do a three day loop, but decided to turn back due to snow levels. At White Pass, there were snow-free campsites and at least a few good options for hanging, in case anyone was thinking about going up there.

Does anyone ever organize a group hang in WA? I know right now still isn't a good time for that, but at some point I'd love to meet up, check out everyone's gear, and talk shop, so to speak.

Ive been pondering setting up another Winter Hang but we shall see..

Living in the Pacific Northwest I began to wonder how many Hammock Enthusiasts are in my neck of the woods.

Not quite a hammock enthusiast (but hoping to be) but from the PNW. Most recent hang was last Spring 2019 hiking up to Whatum Lake but couldn't quite make it due to snow (and leaving too late of course). Had to take Herman Cr. trail due to Eagle Creek fire.

I've been meaning to get up to Helens. Had my first day trip up there this year and there is so much to explore. Kids were over the moon for the lava tunnels.

Yes the lava tubes are fun,,, Lots of quiet places to hang....

It looks like it. I found a little spot that I'm going to try before Fall arrives. It's up near the Kalama and it looked so peaceful and fun. Hopefully it's not a whole lot of peoples spot.

Yeah I was up on Trillium Lake a couple weeks ago on a Monday(!) and it was an absolute zoo. Drones, loud music, my wife counted 30 watercraft at one time on that tiny lake.

Yes I found drones a big thing up around Mt. Hood...... I try to stay away from there now....
