    Hello from DFW, Texas area.

Hey yall, I am here to introduce myself.

I have 26 years of camping experience (I'm 27 years old). I earned my Eagle in 2009.

I loved campouts but hated getting only 3-4 hours of sleep everynight. I could never get a good nights sleep in a tent without using a large inflatable mattress or a cot. In 2015 I decided to pick up an ENO doublenest that was onsale and it changed everything. I am finally able to sleep through the night comfortably, and not be sore in the morning. I wish I had discovered, and had the money, for this style of camping when I was a teen.

I am dreaming of an AT February start NOBO in 2020.

My main setup is: an ENO doublenest, ENO Guardian Bugnet, ENO Atlas straps, Dutchware Spider Web 1.5 Tree Hugger 2" straps (required in Texas State Parks), ENO sub7 hammock (used as a gearsling under main hammock), and a Warbonnet Superfly in Evergreen 20D silpoly.
Current insulation is ENO Ignitor 40 degree topquilt (claims to be 750 down) and Hammock Gear Phoenix 40 underquilt with 1 oz overfill.

Planned subs is replace Atlas straps with Dutchware spider daisy chain, lighter 40 degree topquilt, set of 10 degree quilts, I like the feel of the doublenest so thinking of getting an ENO SuperSub, and a lighter bugnest.
