    Small hole in my bugnet?

I was in my hammock and caught the zipper in my bugnet leaving a small hole. I was thinking of just sewing it up but wondered if there was a better repair. Any suggestions?

Tenacious tape is great for fixing small holes in your bug net.

if it is really small, just some repair tape on either side.

    Should work.

Fortunately, I've not had to use tenacious tape yet; but I know many folks who love it!

Love Tenacious Tape. I have used it to fix several things that nothing else would take care of. There are Mesh patches that would be the best option for fixing a mesh tear. https://www.gearaid.com/products/ten...patch-mesh-bug

You can take a needle and thread and sew back and forth in two directions over the hole. I've done this in the past and it worked fine, though because of the shape I stitched, I always thought there was a big bug on the netting!

That's exactly what I did. It's not too annoying as it is right above the zipper. I hardly see it.

    Thanks all.

I like how OP said "I'll just sew it up, unless there's something better", and everyone suggests tape. Not that various repair tapes aren't wonderful, but NO, there is NOTHING "BETTER" than sewing it up properly.
