So I guess it's safe to say that using them as a bathing suit in a public area probably isn't a good idea. But, out in the wild, game on!

Actually they work just fine for this. I use them as my swim shorts when i'm out backpacking. They weigh next to nothing, dry super quick, and as long as you use darker colors they cover everything just fine.

I have a pair of custom meat print shorts. They are great except for fat marbling in the back makes them translucent. Then again I guess it’s actually everyones else’s problem as I can’t see it.

But I do love those shorts, and the pocket is so useful. Especially for rolling them in to it to pack away.

Ive used the Lukes ones as swim shorts before hiking. Worked out great.
