    Tato gear Hammock stand

Thank you Tato Gear and Dutchware! The Hammock stand that I ordered last Friday arrived today! Setup was super easy and I had a blast playing around or should I say laying around I my Ridgerunner! I do not have any trees easily accessible, so it is so nice to have the Hammock stand and get more use out of my gear.

How is the finishing on the Tato stand ? Is it painted or anodized black?

Do you think that you can setup the Tato stand for two people using a Dutch spreader bar on one end and beetle clips?

Just wondering if I go to a camping site with no trees, do ai need two Tato stands or I can get away with one stand only?

    The stand is painted black.

I definitely think you could double hang, as long as you utilize a 30 degree hangle, the stand is rated for 500lbs. The directions state that as you decrease the hangle, you decrease the weight capacity.

The stand felt much sturdier than I thought it would. I assumed it would feel a bit wobbly when I moved around, but it felt like I was hanging from a couple trees.

That is why I ordered Tato’s stand. I was looking for options, since I do not have trees nearby. I found a video by Marine on YouTube https://youtu.be/9_I7Ypz0i8k
It is a very nice video of him setting up the stand with his Ridgerunner and tarp.

The Tato stand is rock solid. I use it with my GE hammocks but mainly with my Ridgerunner. When we use our RV I always bring it and get to hang whether there are trees or not at the camp site. Also, I hang in my back yard on average 6 or 7 times a month. I love this stand I purchased from Dutch.
