Hi Everyone,
Thought I would say hi!
Based in Ontario, I'm new to hammocks and looking for some great info from everyone on this board as I figure out what setup to use.
Not new to camping at all, just new to hammocks
See you all around!

Here is some food for thought on hammocks.
Enjoy the comfort quest.

Hey there, the EGL (Eastern Great Lakes) group can be found hangin' around in Southern and near north Ontario with some of our US brothers (no sisters yet that I know of). Some are just returning from an Algonquin trip yesterday.
I'm same as you - not new to camping but relatively new (2 years) with hammocks. Mr Shug-of-the-third-person was kind enough to link his videos in and a good time will be had by all again and again watching and learning from his videos, among many others on here.
Take time to read through the boards see what piques your interest.
Some good cottage vendors north of the border as well as south once you decide to spend some hard earned loonies.

Welcome from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan!
Hello and welcome. As Niagara mentioned there’s a fairly active group of hangers here so if you’re interested keep an eye out for a trip planning thread. We tend to go out 3 or 4 times a year.
Don't let life get in the way of living.

Hey ManCamping and welcome to the forums.
We met a couple of years ago when you came down to downtown Toronto to sell me a Kelly Kettle Trekker and you mentioned back then that you were interested in hammocks.
As a couple of guys have already chimed in, a bunch of us get together a few times a year under the guise of the EGL to hang, grill and shoot the sh.t. In fact we just got back from 7 nights in Algonquin, have another canoe trip coming up at the end of September and will likely be car camping at Valens Conservation Area before the end of the year. Lots of different hammocks, tarps, misc on display. Everyone's invited. You can pm me if you're interested.
Anyways, this is an excellent place to learn a bit about hammocking.
As for everyone else, I'd suggest that you check out ManCamping's website. He's got some nice gear.
