Turns out it was indeed too small for my liking and I didn't like the footbox and had trouble getting comfortable initially but I did sleep all night in it just fine.

So I'll probably preorder the XL with the mat also.

Course, I just received my Tensa4 V2 so I'll need to see if the Draumr works with it. I'm guessing it's unlikely but I'll try it out sometime.
It works great with the Tensa 4. I have found that I need to stake both sides of the Tensa to insure the stability to mount and dismount the hammock. I made a custom fixed length ridgeline for my Tensa that exactly match’s the width I need for my Draumr 3 and tarp. Makes setup less fiddly... I’m not as limber as Shug and AZSteelman are...

How small can you get one of these in a compression bag? More worried about space than weight on my motorsickle.

I just use the sacks that Amok ships them to you in on my bike. I can either load them into a saddle bag or I can put them in a large water proof roll top stuff sack and strap them all down on the back rack or passenger seat. I don’t even notice the weight.

Especially on a motorcycle I think you would be better off using one larger compression bag for the whole hang/sleep system than squeezing down a bunch of smaller bags and then fitting them into your packing.
The pads are not really conducive to compression anyway.

I put my whole system into an eVAC bag from Sea-To-Summit for kayaking. Goes down nice and snug to tuck up in the pointy end.

Your spot on... Not only does it make loading and unloading easier, it also centralizes mass and makes the bike balance better.

What saddle bags are those? Although I don't think I could throw my leg over them anyway.

Giant Loop Coyote. They're great. Really simple, well thought out 40L bags. I can travel for a month with them with everything I need packing like an UL backpacker. Clothes, camp junk, tools, spares. My bike doesn't know its there. It wouldn't sit any higher than what you have on your tailrack. Best spot on your bike would be along that rear plate on both sides just before the pipe.
