Here is what BOTH quilts (TQ and UQ) look like together in the stuff sack. Please note that the quilts are merely constrained by the 14" long 6" diameter stuff sack, NOT fully compressed; they are easily compressed to half that volume, somewhere between 2.5 and 2.8 liters, if not even less volume. They're phenomenally small, especially for the amount of warmth.

I was blown away by how small and light this set is!!

I like it. I need better summer gear...looks like I’ve found a winner. My backpacking funds will be sufficiently replenished on Friday, so I think I’ve found where they’re going.

Curious as to how you think the down in a 60F quilt will insulate you long term with respect to down migration?

I have an EE rated at 40F in 950FP. As much as I love down, for these warmer Summer quilts, there is so little down needed to begin with that I am wondering if, having sheets of synthetic insulating material instead of down may be the better option as sheets will not be as prone to shifting left and right and be more homogeneously spread out.

What is your option on this?

I have not noticed cold spots or down migration so far. That might be because of how LL baffles or sews the quilts? They loft quite nicely. I used it last night and it got to close to 50° here in Maine and it kept me warm just fine!

This came just in time! I ordered a Recon UQ. My first LLG quilt!

Just want to say that these arrived Tuesday. The pack-size was smaller than I expected, so that was a huge bonus.
I haven't had these out in the wild yet, but I've been testing them out in my house. I keep the temp set to 65*F overnight, and I get hot if I tuck the TQ around me. The insulation value of these is way better than I expected, especially for their size. It will be a few weeks before I can get these out in the woods to test them, but I'm curious what temps these will push for me...I have a feeling 60*F is a little conservative.

Overall, this was a SOLID purchase. Quality fit & finish on a well-made product.
