    Comfortable hammock for 6'3" guy

Hey all, my boyfriend is not outdoorsy at all but has finally said he'll try camping with me in November. I am a hammocker of course but all my hammocks are way too short/narrow for him.

Can anyone recommend a symmetrical hammock with at least a bug net, if not a top cover, that might work for him? He has memory foam at home and I want him to be as comfy as possible, so hopefully he'll find the outdoors a bit nicer.

Thanks for any and all advice!

11 foot long should do, I’m 6’2.5” and use a Dream Hammock Dangerbird and a Dutch 11 foot netless with a bug net. Both about 66” wide.

I think a great route for a symmetrical would be a Dream Hammock Raven. 11’ long, with options to add width by changing fabrics.

A Raven is $115, would be $130 with a wider fabric (my favorite is Robic 1.7).

I am 6'1" and 300 lbs - I have a symmetrical DreamHammock Sparrow double layer 1.6 hyperD as wide as possible and find it very comfortable

I'm 6 feet and use a Dutchware Chameleon Wide. I have plenty of room and very comfortable. It has all the options you specified and more.

I started with the hammock, bug net, ridge line organizer and beetle buckle suspension. I just ordered a peak shelf, sidecar and a new tarp. After camping on an island with 2 days of rain, the old tarp just wasn't cutting it.

I'm that size and a Warbonnet XL Convertible works great for me.

    Take it easy,

6’2” here and I like the Warbonnet XLC. Also like the Wilderness Logic Lite Owl with a separate bug net. I’d say 11’ length is what you should get.

I’m 6’-2” and I sleep great in a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC. No experience with anything else.

A Warbonnet BlackBird will also work. I am 6ft 2 and prefer the regular BB over the XLC.

You should also consider the Warbonnet Eldorado.
