Smile ViDEO: Caribou Rock Trail BWCA Northern Minnesota

Got caught up and some show prep and chores and carved a couple days out to get back up the the Caribou Rock Trail that runs North up to the Border Route Trail and Stairway Portage in the BWCA.
Been wanting to see it since the big storm blew through 2 or 3 years ago.

This is a 4 mile (more or less) trail but takes me 4 hours (or more) to do. Granted there are so many great views of Hungry Jack, Moss, Duncan and Rose Lake. Plus the falls at Stairway Portage.
Fun trail to do on a two night out and back....
Has everything a right goodie of a trail needs.

Carried my new ULA FastPack that I bought recently....https://www.ula-equipment.com/product/fastpack/

Slept in a new TQ I just bought from JacksRBetter.....The Sierra Stealth.

Was warmed underneath from the new Summer Underquilt I purchased from Wilderness Logics.

    Used my WarbonnetMiniFly silpoly tarp.

Of course my Fancee feest alcohol stove.

    Had a FANTASTIC time~~~~

    Whoooooooooooooo Buddy)))))))

Shame that a good hanging spot was damaged by the storms, good on you for making it work and still getting a great view. Enjoyed the video.

Yes we sure do and I appreciate Minnesota for that.
Fastpack was nice and did not miss hipbelt at all.
Dust...a fun pick to figure out. Copied the fiddle part.
