    Hi all,

Just to follow up on this; it seems any email I sent with the picture attached never made it hence the communication problems. I've since spoken to Brandon and the team and the issue has been sorted to a happy resolution. The rig has now had 7 nights over a few trips put on it and thus far zero issues beyond the initial zip problem. No calf ridge and the best sleep I've ever had in a hammock (including my Ridge Runner!). I can't recommend the XLC and Warbonnet enough at this point! Thanks team.

    Peace.

Hi, I would like to know what was done to achieve the "happy resolution".

I think we covered that under warranty

I should point out that there are two types of zippers, the plastic-coated metal coil zipper and the molded plastic tooth style (there's also a metal tooth but those aren't used on outdoor gear much). The coil tooth (like on the Ridgerunner and origional BB) are the most durable, but that style can't be made to a high enough tolerance to allow for modular items to be purchased independently and then zipped together correctly (like the XLC removeable/interchangeable tops, UQP etc). The molded plastic tooth is the only one that can be made to an exact tooth count specification, it is less robust but if you're careful with you gear they hold up just fine.

We've been having good luck with these molded tooth variety, the exception being when somebody doesn't leave the micro biner on the end of the net/top attached while in use (we include a warning tag reminding you to do this so it's mainly when someone tosses it without reading it and then assumes it doesn't do anything and then removes the biner)

We did have some problems with the extra zipper track add-on option to the underquilt protector (most recent photo in this thread), so while we still offer the UQP you no longer have the extra zipper track option. This issue was more a problem with the design than with the zippers themselves, I may re-design the UQP in the future to accept a second zipper track because it was a popular request but for now it is not available.

    Brandon,
I spoke with Greg about ordering this option and told that you no longer have the material to do this, have you had a chance to redesign the tri-zipper design?
