Here's a look at the tarp in its natural Virginian habitat.

The tarp is just shy of 12' in length, so it's nice and spacious. It comes with the a black stuff sack and Reflect-it guy lines.

Finally a tarp that might work with Big Bertha-my 11’ (Sean???) double wide hammock. I may have to try and win that.

I called the park a little while ago and the lady I spoke with said the wood doesn’t have to come from inside PWC, but it does have to be USDA certified pest free wood. I’ve see USDA wood sold at places like grocery stores but they’re generally in small bundles of like 10 logs for around $7 or 8 bucks, which seems pricy to me. If anyone knows of a local source that can sell the rated wood in bulk that could be a better option.

Awesome. Yeah wood isn’t cheap but it’s a wonderful resource to have at home. Id love to have at least a cord or two myself but where I live currently I don’t have the space for it and can’t have a fire in my backyard anyway .

I’d suggest bringing a copy of the purchase receipt just in the off chance the rangers were to question the wood’s ‘legality’ so-to-speak.

Ok gang. We are just one month out and I am stoked.

Signups are looking good.

Raffle submissions are coming in and I am expecting some more. If anyone has something cool to add for the raffle please let me know.

Firewood is here. Just need to steal my boys truck to haul it down.

Temps are finally coming down so Fall is finally here. Perfect for hammock camping.

I’m heading out to MAHHA tomorrow to get into the groove. If you are going to be there be sure to track me down.

Wow. Had a great time at MAHHA.

One thing I kept hearing from people I knew and some that I didn’t, ‘see you at NOVA’. Boy did that make me feel good. I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone in a month.

As far as the raffle I got a few more commitments. I’ll let you all know when I get the items in hand.
