    are you flooded?

Hope all our favorite cottage vendors and HF members are ok. I saw Hershey Park is under water! Big storm covering multiple states. Dutch, 2QZQ, Loco Libre, everyone good?

You are now free to move about the country...like anywhere else it is dry.

Send some our way. We are in our normal dry months with little to no rain until December. If we do not get a hurricane coming through we get very little rain in the late summer/fall. Hopefully this will move out of the east and allow you guys to dry out.

I did get some water in my basement workshop during an earlier summer deluge, but have been dry in recent weeks. Not a big deal. In my case, it was not so much a flooding issue as it was the capacity of storm drains to keep up with the rate of rainfall and runoff.

The Neshaminy Creek outside our shop was predicted to reach the "action" but the prediction was backed off and although it is flowing real fast it looks like it will stay within it's banks. Fishing will not be so great the next few days though.

We are up the hill in town...however, our town park did flood. We do have a drainage system in our basement...if we didn't, we probably would have had a lot of water down there. We heard our sump pumps working!
    Thank you for your concern!

Also...Hershey Park did flood a little, but most stayed in the water areas that are built with high walls. There were pics floating around the internet showing major flooding...those were from several years ago.

The Hershey area did flood quite a bit with some bridge damage.

As mentioned you could send some of that precipitation up here to Ontario. A lot of the Northern areas we go to are under a fire ban and some places are even temporarily closed.

I live east of the heavy rain area, along the Delaware river. It's high but did not flood.

Good to hear that you and 2Q are OK. Also good to hear Hershey Park flooding wasn't too bad, we love that place. The news here had an aerial shot over SkyRush that looked like all of Comet Hollow was under water.
