We used Twin River Outfitters. They also dropped off our water and a few items at the first campsite but, we had to take it with us after that. There is a 24 our convenience store about an easy mile walk from the Gala campsite. We did not have to get out a drag our kayaks but one time and it was only a few feet. But with the rain this week the river maybe up. You will not be disappointed.
As far as the camping areas the first one was at “Gala” we were in campsite #2 the trees are spars on campsite 1,2, & 3. I would recommend asking for sites of a higher number site (even just telling the outfitter you needs trees to hang in).
The second campsite is at Horse Shoe Bend. We were in campsite #4, no one was in campsite #3 we used the trees there to hang. Campsite 5,6,7 and I think 8 did not have trees enough to hang. If you can not get to Camp Site #3 then the last two campsites were in the woods enough and had trees. There were some Boy Scouts in there so we did not get to go into camp.
Overall, A great time. I hope this helps. If there are any questions please ask.
By the way, you want to eat before getting to the outfitters do it before getting the Buchanan. There was only a very small Burger King there that is open and it was not that fast nor very good.
