Same here, Slugger. Great pix.
Get well soon Big Bill. The emergency personnel did an amazing job extracting you from Enchanted Forest after slipping at slippery creek bank and injuring your knee. Thank you Snwcmpr for contacting emergency rescue squad.
I thank you all for picking with me and adding meaning to my life.
Debbie and I are home and unpacked. Thanks to everybody for a great time. Likewise Best wishes Bill. Hope you don't have any serious issues. A few pics I took just before dark on Sat.

I roast coffee at home.
Repost from the planning thread...
This was our first John Rock hang and it was great. Natalie, Lacey (our beagle) and I arrived Thursday afternoon after waiting a bit for a rain cloud to pass over. The trail was a bit soggy but that just meant the Cedar Rock waterfall was even more impressive. We setup our hammocks in an enchanted grove of trees while Foxpoop walked Lacey around (much appreciated). We made some dinner and then enjoyed sitting around the campfire that night. A few lies might have been told.
Friday morning we woke up to enjoy the runners jogging by, some in costume. They must get up early to make it to our camp by 6:30 or so.
We then broke camp after breakfast to head up to the high country near Shining Rock. It was pretty cloudy up there so we had limited views but the wildflowers were out so we didn’t mind.
It was great seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

Thanks for the pics Slugger and Peeeety.
Bill hope you get better soon.
Thanks for all the pictures guys. Had a great time and have been on and off the phone with Athenawise (Loretta).
So here is the UPDATE on BIG BILL.
He has no broken bones and just has a hyperextended knee which will keep him out of work for 1 to 2 weeks. He is in a cast. Big Bill is staying in an extended stay hotel in Asheville, while Little Bill and Athenawise drive to Bloomington Indiana (they left around 5PM Sunday). Where she will get some rest then head north to Indianapolis to pick up her daughters van and head back down to Asheville, NC. Athenawise thanks all of you for being so wonderful in helping and will thank you when she gets a chance. At this moment she is asleep while little bill drives. The whole family had a great time. I will keep you all posted.
I want to thank you all so much for making this hang great and cant wait until next year to do it again. Thanks Foxpoop for setting this hang up every year for us.

Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
Slugger, I am so glad that you were standing six feet away from that widow maker when it fell. Things like that are such a wake up, and those limbs were all over that site.
Tallpaul, your beagle was a blast. It was nice to talk with you and your family.
Thanks everyone for making this another great year at John Rock. Get well soon, Big Bill.
