    Hennessy Expedition Asym Classic

Just bought this as a stop gap until I can warrant spending the money on a WBBB (They are absolutely worth the money and shipping but my wife might have something to say because apparently 10 hammocks is enough).
I found this a bit smaller than what I'm used to but the comfort is definitely there. The fact you cannot undo the net will be an issue for cooking from the hammock but it may be a compromise worth making for packsize and a good nights kip.
I will update with any issues I have with the UQ and bottom entry conflicting with each other but on the whole I'm impressed especially with the speed of set up. I'm skeptical about the size of the tarp but it has kept me dry in a shower so I maybe worried about nothing, also I have many tarps I can use. The tarp in the snakeskin could be an issue when packing away wet as your hang will also be effected.

I also use an HH with bottom entry as I have some physical limitation. Overall I am happy with it and have been for a number of years but I am only 5'2". What I did have done was a 2QZQ mod 4 which gives me a zipper on both sides and I can actually roll up the screen and stuff it into a bag at the bottom of the hammock that 2QZQ provide. Donna is a wiz with a sewing machine for sure!!!

I also got The Nest from Jacks R Better. Perfect match up to the bottom entrance on the HH. Only thing I wish I had done was gotten the Winter Nest. I no longer camp in the summer so spring, winter, and fall are now my camping seasons

I'm going down the DIY route as much as possible as I'm as tight as a ducks bum.

I picked up my Explorer Deluxe classic off of Ebay several months ago and really enjoy it. The only thing I'm not wild about is the rope suspension, and I want to change it out to continuous loops to use with my straps. However I DO really like the way the tarps attach to the rope suspension and don't want to lose that ability. So I'm stuck hating the Hennessy lashing bc of it's lack of quick adjustability, but I like the fly setup enough that I can't get rid of my ropes.

I also currently use a DIY Costco throw underquilt, and made UQ attachment points with mitten hooks that clip to the hammock tieouts. Using this setup I haven't had any UQ problems. I just pull the UQ to the side when using the bottom entry, and then reach through and redistribute the UQ after I am in the hammock before I lie down.

I hope you enjoy your Hennessy as well.

I whacked a fig 8 on the bite on the rope attached amsteel whoopies to that and use the trailing rope for UQ attachment and utility line. I've used for a while now and although it does offer me a good lay the entry and exit if using a sleeping bag or pad is a royal pain in the behind. My DIY UQ works well and I attached loops to coincide with the pull outs and it stays in place well.

I did that(fig 8 loop on my rope) on my Explorer UL, and use a Beckett hitch. I love it!
