HG Incubator with short hammock?

I am planning on purchasing a HG Incubator. Does anybody see why there would be a problem with it fitting on a shorter than average hammock like my GT Double (9.5ft long)?

Nope, it should work just fine. If the suspension is a bit too long, just make another knot to shorten it.

I've used my Incubator on an ENO before with no issues (besides the hammock being too short and not nearly as comfortable as my WBBB).

I have used mine, which is the shorter length (73") on 9, and one that is slightly less than 9, foot hammocks. It works well. I don't see why you couldn't use a regular length on a 9.5 footer, since the hammock body is about 114 inches.

The Grand Trunk single was my goto hammock for about 2 years. That's all I used. I don't recall any issues, in fact, I only started having issues immediately after switching to other hammocks. I guess I just had the UQ set up right for the shorter hammock? Still can't figure that one out. Regardless, I just found that GT to be the most comfortable material with no calf ridge.

I've use my standard length 'Bator on my 9' 8" HH Expedition and 9' 5" Equip single and didn't have any issues. I've also used my short length ' Bator on the Equip and no issues. Instead of putting a knot(s) in the primary suspension to shorten it, you can attach it ( both or one end ) to the whoopies where they larks head to the continuous loops, and not right at the end of the hammock body. Doing that, plus using different size S or regular biners to fine tune it and/or adding a small loop of shock cord larks headed further up the hammock suspension to use as an attachment point instead should get it hung pretty much exactly where it should be and you won't have tiny knots to pick out of the shock cord later which can be a pita.
