It's not a trip if you didn't forget something. I always run out the door without SOMETHING I meant to take haha!

There's always a first time for everything! We've all had a similar experience... there's always seems to be something that's forgotten or left behind.

Now you have an excuse to get back out there & give it another go.

Checklists are done but I have to go through and decide what to leave at home since I don’t have a backpacking pack yet to get out and practice with haha. But I’m making a Costco down throw underquilt now so that will be really nice to have.

Good on ye'.....only way to really get good at hammocking is to get out there and hammock.
Now step up and strap up the straps and enjoy the comfort quest.
    Coffee and a hammock...bliss.

Even with my gear list! I'll either say "that's in the garage right by my car, I'll cross that off later" or I don't have a pen handy. Or check something off, but take it back out to clean or use. Last time I forgot my hiking poles which cost me $40 and a quick stop. Had to have them!

Thankfully I go over a gear list like 5 times and make sure everything is in its place. Well...most of the time haha
