Purpose: Several members wanted to see a Tensa4 stand in person and I am willing to show off mine.

Please post in this thread if you are interested in meeting and when and where would be good. I was thinking that a local park with some picnic tables and trees would be good. Maybe Lake Crabtree, or Pullen Park, or Bond Lake. Thinking of an after work event since people tend to be busy on the weekend, but I would be willing to do this almost any time.

I will probably get takeout to picnic in the park, but might grill. Then would chill in my hammock until dusk.

Be sure to bring your tarp, hammock, and suspension so you can try it on the stand.

All are welcome. Don't be shy.

Update: Date will be Thursday 07/26/18 and location will be Umstead with more details to follow.

Ok. I will throw out Tuesday 6:00 as a tentative date to see if that works for people.

Interested but can't next Tues. Wed maybe. Thurs better. Wed or Thurs of the next week possible. If I can't come the day you choose, I can see it at Yates, right?

Definitely will bring to Yates. Honored that you would drive up to spend a few hours. O.K. the new tentative date is Thurs 26th. I want to stick with a Raleigh or Cary park for now since it would be more central for chknbone, Bobo, and possibly others. Plus I work in Raleigh. If we can't work out the dates, then I will be happy to meet Tacoma in Clayton. I am willing to have more than one impromptu picnic and hang.

Sure thing, even though there are plenty of trees there. You know how we love to play with our hammock gear and the beauty of the stand is its portability. It will even fit in MY car and that is saying something since you know how much stuff I cram into it for camping.
