Just a beautiful trip. Glad you made it thru with the tent. Now you know, always take your hammock. it takes up just a little space in the kayak with very little weight.

Even for just a few hours of paddling here, I take my hammy because you never know. A few years back, my wife got to enjoy laying in it between 2 palms on a little bluff about 3' over the beach of a spoil island. The breeze was perfect and that sold her on a hammock.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I think with taxes it ended up being $240 given the exchange rate at the time. I also paid a little extra ($20?) for them to clean the kayak since I wasn't sure how much time I'd have and did not want to miss the bus.

Usually I agree, but I was traveling with 3 small kids and my wife and my duffel bag was pretty packed. I probably should have found space for a hammock and UQ, but it would have been tight
