Rockdawg sent me a box of raffle prizes, just in case he is not able to make it.
Here's to hoping to see him there.

One of the things in the box was a bunch of little bags labeled "Huppy Bars".
I had no clue as to what they were. So I looked them up.

We could use one to hang really high over the fire pit.
Not anywhere near as big as the 20' x 30' tarps but maybe some where around 15' x 20' or somewhere in that neighborhood.
I can buy one if need be but if some one has one....
I have a 20x20 slightly used (up). (the 20 x30 replaced it.) I can throw it in the car if you need. I also have I think a 15 x 20 already in the car. All are good over the fire.

I was about to purchase my first hammock last week but held off so I could check some out at this hang. I can't get there until around 3pm on Saturday. Will I still have an opportunity to check them out that late on Saturday?

Sure will. As a matter of fact you should plan on spending Saturday night if you can. I don't have a ridge runner like you want to buy but I could set you up for the night in my blackbird.

I think the 15 x 20 would be perfect over the fire pit. Or if you have plenty of room and want to bring both we can take a look at which might be better.
We'll put it nice and high.

    Absolutly.
We'll have quite a few that you can see and try out.
At 3pm on Saturday there might not be many of our group at the group camp site.
Most will be either at the Fall festival, helping with the "Hammock Camping Demo", walking around the festival or checking out the wild pony auction (I think that starts at 2 or 3pm).
And some may be out on a day hike.
But at that time of day it wont be long until some are going back to the group site to start cooking for the Sat eve group meal. And we plan to all head back about 5pm.
You would probably enjoy the festival for a while.

Visionarylion asked me to sign him and his family of 7 up, bringing our number on the sign up sheet to 40!
Of course, that number rarely turns out to match reality when all is said and done.
Some will not be able to make it and some will show up that are not on the list. But bottom line is, a fine time should be had by all that do make the trip.

Please remember, the number of people in our group is not a problem.
The problem is the number of cars that fill the near by parking spaces, causing problems for other visitors in the campground.
So I hope several others will join myself in parking my car at the Visitor's Center and having one of our group shuttle you back to camp.
Unload your stuff in camp first of course.
I plan to set up an extra tarp (9 x 12) as a bakers lean to and keep some of my extra stuff there in storage tubs.

I understand this would be difficult and impractical for some but hopefully some others will join me in the shuttling.

Visionarylion and family are providing Egg wraps for Sat breakfast and Taco soup/dip for Sat eve. I will bring taco chips to go along with it.

As to parking elsewhere, the Visitor's Center is the best option.
It's further away but there is a huge parking lot that never gets full.
On the other hand, the parking areas along the main road and the backpacker's parking will get heavy use.
And even more so the parking spaces near the group camping area, store and public bath rooms.
