VA, 7th Grayson Falls Festival, Sept 28-30

East side on Cincinnati. I've been to the Great Miami Outfitter's Frozen Butt Hang the last two years. ('17 & '18). If you have been to that, perhaps we met once.

I gave up cold hangin a couple years ago. Haven't been to those hangs.

How far is it from the AT trailhead parking lot to our group site.

Did not read all the way thru the posts so do not know if someone else answered your question. Looks to be about a mile (roughly) from AT lot to the campground.

Well some day I will learn not to make long term plans. This is looking less likely everyday so I have removed my name from the spread sheet which now gives two more slots for somebody waiting to make the hang. I planned to be here last year as well with last minute changes knocking me out of the the trip. Maybe next year or else just find an unlimited hang which does not take advance planning. Maybe Hang Con.

Travis I think by the time we hit Grayson it should be cooler, here it has been heat index over 100 and very humid.

Someone will start a winter hang thread after this hang is done---probably. Has been going on for a while.
