Nice work - as always. I even like the little mesh bag to store it.

Soft shackles keep working their way into my notice. it may be time to do watch your videos and make my own.

FYI there is a website that has strength data for soft shackles. Their data showed that tight fitting loops (the loop the knot slips through) break sooner than those with loops that do not snug down on the line. Reason the cinching down on the line causes a stress riser.

Any how I found that interesting.

This is a real nice set up.

Just made a pair of Tac Blades improved soft shackles to use with my new DIY ultralight hammock. Also made continuous loops based on his videos to go with it. And the whoopie slings.

I've watched a lot of Tac Blades videos because they are well done, clearly explained, and interesting. Some of my favorite "go to" videos when I need some rope work. Thanks a lot for the videos.

There was extensive testing on the improved soft shackle approach in the labs and acedemic study and real loading tests.

This was published on the internet but at the moment has been taken down, i think they wamted to go down the patent route but it never happened.

    Thank you

The only research I ever found was on a sailing site called L-36.

Here is the link to the soft shackle: http://l-36.com/soft_shackles.php?menu=4
