Planning First Hang - Cairngorms

Hello,
Have hammock, have time with wife and kids heading out of time, and so am heading to the Cairngorms (Scotland) this weekend for by first ever hang/equipment shakedown. This is purely to be a practice session before a coming canoe trip in Canada. Any advice or tips? I'm heading from Aberdeen so I'd rather not go to the 'far' side of the park and I'm not looking for a big hike. Lin of Dee?

I'm self contained but wondering if I need to book anything, including a place to park my car.

Any advice very welcome.
