Next door for you. Only a 35 minute drive. If you can not spend the weekend, at least stop by to visit. This sounds awesome hoping we can make it.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
We love Medoc, my son and I will go there often just to test gear or hang for the night. His troop is scheduled to camp there Oct 12-14 as well.

Plan on attending Saturday - Sunday. Linville Gorge Fall Gathering the weekend before.
Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
The good news is there a hang somewhere just about every weekend.....the bad news is that there is a hang somewhere just about every weekend. SO many hangs and so little time.....

I'm checking my calendar for this one. I've never been to Medoc but have wanted to for a while and always wanted to attend a Gunner76 (With Sam) Hang & meet The Terminator as well. Hope I can get the days off?
Yep but love these fall hangs. Just to add, the next weekend after this one is Yates Place Fall Back Hang. The good thing is.... If I forget any gear someone could possibly bring it over to me the following weekend Lol

Be careful Mooseman, it looks like Gunner is going to teach Sam that you are a fetch toy...sleep with at least one of your eyes open...especially around the fire..

Sam likes Mooseman. Thinks he is a big toy to wake up in the AM

Aw, how cool. Very A-Mooseing, wait is that for me or for me to throw for Sam? Lol
Yes prob good advise for all of us. You never know when their might be wild heffalumps and woozles lurking around Yates Place.
I think we should train Sam on fetching "Orange Crocks" Lol I think they are more tame than Moose and probably taste better to.
Yes Gunner, I like Sam too and yes I've woke up to some snorting, a friendly tail wagging and hitting things and even a Big Black Nose/Eyes staring at me in my hammock. Lol Oh and Sam's greeted me in the morning as well hahaha lol
Good times and Sam is everybody's friend, new arrival greeter, security alert coordinator and camp scrap cleaner upper. Lol
A very high position of importance !
Bring on the Halloween Hang and the Fall temps!
